Microsoft Windows Tips

Here’s a list of some of my commonly used Windows Tips.
By default, when you start Windows Explorer it opens up with My Computer show. However it is possible to start explorer with different command ine options and have it start in a different way.
Windows XP comes with lots of different themes available, but there are many other third party themes available at sites like Deviantart. However to be able to use them you need to apply certain patches.
Although it can be a security risk, sometimes it can be useful to turn on autologon in Windows. Some people don’t like it, some people just live with it, but something else that can be useful is  Turning UAC on or off in Windows Vista. However, this can also be a security risk, so use these at your own peril.
